Why counselling?
There are times in most people's lives when they feel unable to cope. At some point, we will all perhaps feel depressed, anxious, alone and challenged by life’s circumstances. Without fully understanding what is happening, we try to keep on going.
It may be memories of the past, painful events in the present or worries about the future which become obstacles and stop us enjoying life or achieving our aims.
Counselling provides an opportunity to share problems with someone who is trained and skilled in listening. It is a sanctuary where you can explore your anxieties and feelings. It offers you the space to express these feelings about yourself and your relationships with others in an environment which is safe, confidential and non-judgmental.
